Initially thought it was perfect. But I used it in his crate at night and though he had other toys, the coarse weave and lovely woolly smell meant it was super tempting and easy for the 7 month old pup to pull apart. Now one edge is frayed and unravelling and there’s a few small holes. Do you have extra wool thread for repairs?

My lab and I love these blankets, both for the feel, warmth and smell. Some may find the smell a bit off-putting but like the smell of dog, you get used to it. I grew up with this smell and it is very evocative. Regardless, they are a good size and weight, and I intend to buy a couple more. I haven't washed these yet but with proper care they should be fine. And hopefully they will retain that true wool smell for a while yet. Thanks Riley

The wool blankets are a big hit with both my three year old Cavoodle girls. The blankets are sturdy, well made and soft. I chose large so I can wrap up the girls after a walk in winter. Both girls also like sleeping on the blankets for extra warmth at night. Highly recommend!
