Our sheepskins are ethically sourced from New Zealand. They are super versatile and dogs & babies love sheepskins! The natural properties help them relax and relieve stress. Wool is highly breathable, hygienic and insulating. Sheepskin rugs help your baby or fur baby regulate their temperature, keeping them from overheating or getting too cold. Naturally nurturing and soft to the touch, babies and dogs just love them, as do their parents!

Sizes: Medium - 60x95cm, Small - 55x80cm (Due to the nature of this product, size may differ by 1-5 cm)
Care Instructions: Your Sheepskin may have been tightly packaged for the journey home and so the wool may appear flattened. Wool fibres are very resilient and will bounce back to their original springy appearance.
A vigorous shake will also help restore the soft, fluffy appearance of the wool. Any fold marks from the packaging will disappear once the skin has been removed from the package for several days.
Hand/Machine Washing: Use a mild liquid household detergent in cold or warm water when hand washing (max 40C) or use the 'wool wash' cycle on your washing machine (max 40C) Do not use soap or washing powders containing enzymes or bleach, or which are alkaline. *Do not use fabric softeners.
Rinse thoroughly in warm water. Hand squeeze as much water from the Sheepskin as possible or spin in the washing machine.
Drying: The Sheepskin may be tumble-dried on the 'cool' or 'warm' setting. Do not use 'hot' setting as excessive heat may damage it. Alternatively, hang the Sheepskin outside to dry naturally, avoiding direct sunlight.
Take care not to place the Sheepskin on a radiator, steam pipe or in front of a fan heater as this may damage the Sheepskin. Do not iron or bleach.
Brushing: After washing, the wool may revert back to its natural curly state. You can help restore the fluffy appearance by brushing the wool while it is wet and again when it is dry. A wire pet brush or comb is suitable.
The sheepskin can also be professionally dry-cleaned using either white spirits or perchloroethylene.

I cannot recommend these guys enough. I am in Australia and wanted a great quality natural product that is washable and also looks great, and this ticks all the boxes. I have purchased many expensive dog beds and this one is fabulous, so I am hoping to never hear my partner say “is that another dog bed” again! Getting it to Australia was a bit tricky as it was close to Xmas but the customer service and communication from this company was fantastic! I was debating sizes for my Standard Poodle and went for the Large as I always seem to go too big and it is plenty big enough, and she is finally starting to use the sausage as a pillow.
